nugget: twenty-eight weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 28 weeks

Size of Baby: around the size of a eggplant.  She probably weighs a little over 2lbs now! 

Total Weight Gain: 15lbs (that's a guess... We don't have a scale).

Maternity Clothes: yep! Although I am really starting to hate the belly flap on those maternity pants.  They just scrunch up make my pants fall down all day long.

Gender: GIRLIE

Movement: real low and sideways.  I have been having such terrible hip pain that I wake up crying throughout the night.  It's not even about being too big and uncomfortable, it's about my hips feeling like there is a car jack separating them!

Sleep: So tired... not sleeping well from all the hip pain.

What I Miss: sleep

Cravings: just whatever.  I did eat a whole bowl of fruit salad and it was just so tasty, but honestly, I don't care right now... this week is blah.

Best Moment this Week: feeling her move around a ton.  She also got scared by a really loud noise and had the hiccups which was super adorable.

Blood Pressure: 120s/70s which is great I guess... I am just getting super nervous that it will spike at any given moment.  

I'm relieved to finally be in my final trimester.  Not that I am just dying for this pregnancy to be over or anything... just glad to know she is getting closer to a time where she could be safe if she were born early.

I am also excited to start thinking about names and planning her bedroom, sewing and just a little nesting.  Noah is excited too.  I told him how I was going to make a new blanket for him and his baby sister and he has not let me forget it once.  Every day... "and one day you will make blankets for ME and MY baby sister!" *sigh* melt my heart! Hope he loves her this much when she finally gets here!
