Weekly wonder: seven

This past week we flew to Texas to visit family.  I flew with both the kids on Tuesday and Jonathan joined us on Friday after work. We have been itching to get our feet back on the Lone Star State's soil. Our first adventure was to tackle the Dallas Arboretum. We loved every minute of it except for the fact the weather was still hot. Checking out pumpkins in 90 degree heat doesn't feel very fall-like. Makes me want to put in my swimsuit and sit in a bucket of ice.  The heat was much less bothersome to the littles.  Thankfully the gardens were as beautiful as ever and the kids loved playing in Pumpkin Village.  Olive especially enjoyed chewing on baby pumpkins and gourds.  Noah got to ride on the Tram with his Nannie and run while through the gardens.    We can't wait to visit again when we visit for Christmas!
