This weekend we met up with our buddies (Rachel, Will, Kaitlin, Dan and Allison) in Newport Beach for an Electric Duffy boat adventure cruise. Newport is only about an hour away so drove up and met Rachel and Will a little earlier than the cruise so that we could walk around and grab lunch.
After finding a restaurant and stuffing ourselves silly, we walked around for a little bit and caught a little sun over by the pier. It was good to walk a little after eating and it was even better to let Noah get down and have some free time. We found a nice ice cream shop right next to the pier and headed back to where we were meeting Kaitlin, Dan and Allison.
We just barely made to the boat rentals... they were about to declare us no-shows, but the two adorable babies convinced them that we needed our little adventure. So we loaded up with lots of snacks, wine, beer, diapers, blankets, life vests and babies. We didn't exactly have a captain for this little boat, so all three guys took turns. It was really pleasant putting around Newport Bay for a few hours, enjoying the scenery and great company.
After we docked our boat, we headed off to dinner and then Jonathan, Noah and I went home.
We really had a blast in Newport and absolutely loved the spending time with our LA family. Can't wait to do it again!
