keeping up

the world wide web is always changing and unfortunately that means we all have to learn how to keep up. Some are super tech savvy and it's a no-brainer and some just need a point in the right direction.

This week marked a big change in the blog world; the end of Google Reader.  To some of you this means absolutely nothing, but then to people who are active in the blogging community this means goodbye to the convenience of how we manage our blogs and blogs we follow.  With Google Reader, one could tag all of your favorite blogs, know when they were updated and read through them throughout the day.  You could also, manage your own blog and keep tabs on all of your followers.  It was super easy.

Unfortunately, that particular Google service is now gone.  Per many other bloggers recommendations, I have switched over to Bloglovin'.  This service has most of the same great features that Google Reader had with the exception of being able to edit and post on my blog.  So here is my test run and I am hoping it will be a smooth transition.

If you would like to continue to follow my blog and get updates like you once did through Google Reader, you can now do so through Bloglovin.

Here's how...

Hopefully this information will help keep many of you in the youngmccaffrey loop and that your transition will be ultra smooth!
