My son, you are six months old. You can sit up and crawl. You can roll in any direction. You can smile and babble. You can hug and kiss. You can grab and pull out chunks of my hair. You can play. You can sleep in your crib. You can sort of drink from a sippy cup. You can throw tantrums. And You can melt my heart.
Today Noah had his six month doctors appointment and boy has he grown!
weight: 16.59lbs; 33.02%
height: 26 inches; 24.28%
head circumference: 17.03 inches; 49.38%
Noah was trying to crawl all over the room and the doctor commented on how agile he was. She said at the rate he is going he should be walking early too. AH! We talked about Noah's current disinterest in food and she informed me that it wasn't a big deal and that since he's growing she doesn't think it's anything to worry about. She also said that she sees a few teeth coming through on the bottom row (which I knew) and said that could explain any fussing that's been going on.
It was also time for another round of vaccinations. Today was the prevnar(shot) and rotovirus(oral). I am very happy that his pediatrician lets him only get one shot at a time. This really helps both of us out. I can comfort him easier when it's just one leg thats hurting instead of two. He cried for a few minutes and then seemed fine, but I am sure I will have a cranky baby for the rest of the day.
The pediatrician also mentioned some things we should do around the home now that Noah is officially a crawler. Most of the things we had already started doing, but a few of them we had never thought of. I really appreciate all the suggestions she made, but I am NOT looking forward to making more changes around the house.
Everything else has been going really well. I have been super busy taking LOTS of long walks with Noah lately. The more we are out of the house, the happier he seems to be, which means... we are hardly ever home.
And check out Noah's 26 week/6 month photos... I am pleased to say that the naked/bucket ones were taken by me as well. I know they are pretty cheesy, but they were fun to take and the lighting was especially nice. Enjoy!

cute, cute pictures Christa!
