Big boy Noah is feeling just too BIG these days. It's really hard to get anything done around the house while he's awake right now. He wants to explore and for you to be right there along side him every single stinking second of the day. His crawling has improved even more and now he lifts himself up on the furniture. I thought that was pretty exciting until I realized he still has not mastered how to get down from that position and he just lets go...AH! It is so scary to see your baby flying backwards from the standing position...almost like a backwards belly flop. We are working hard on the going from standing to sitting position. Hopefully that will get rid of the backwards bellyflops.
Another new development is Noah's second tooth has decided to finally join us. It's been peeping through for a bit, but now we can totally see it when he smiles nice and wide. Anyways, it is out and making him all kinds of cranky. I think those teeth are really really annoying him. He especially hates that when he sucks on his feet he tends to take a few bites out of those cute little toes. OUCH!
Wednesday, Noah had his first official play date with some babies of old friends of mine and it was really sweet to see him interacting with babies close in his age. They crawled, walked and played around in the grass and grabbed each others hands while us moms just chitchatted for the longest time. It was great.
This week and part of next week we are visiting family in Texas. Noah took his fifth plane ride and he was amazing! I was shocked that he actually slept 75% of the flight. Man did that make the trip easier. We are so happy to be amongst all of our family and friends right now. I can't wait to share more photos after we return from our trip.
