weekly noah: twenty one

Holy moly! This week is draining me! I just wish the weekend would get here so that my mom would be here and we could have a fun visit with Mimi! Noah has been having a tough time sleeping this week, which means I have been having a tough time sleeping.  I am trying another new method... and I will let you know how it works soon enough.  The other one failed miserably and Noah is still not getting to bed easily.  I am not expecting much, because he is a baby, but I want him to have good sleeping habits! It's important to me that he is healthy and happy and well rested!

As of last Friday, Noah was just 4 ounces short of 16lbs!  Oh my!  I thought I may have noticed some extra feeds in the past week, but really I wasn't counting. Hah!  Noah is becoming quite the active little guy.  While at dinner the other night he managed to knock over an entire glass of water onto my lap.  It was crazy.  Water and soy sauce everywhere.  Jonathan acted so cool about it all, but I was a little embarrassed.  I guess it really just surprised me.  In a matter of days he has gone from falling asleep in my arms at the dinner table to lunging at my silverware and dishes (still hasn't really made the lunge for food).

In the past week Noah has started grabbing at Gus, grabbing at mommy, grabbing at daddy and grabbing at himself.  He caught his foot the other day, but nothing came of that.  He didn't feel the need to pull it into his mouth.  He did however grab my foot and pull it into his mouth. lol GROSS.  Poor Gus has been caught off guard a few times and let out a few yelps... he's hasn't learned though and still hangs out WAY too close to Noah, waiting for the opportunity to lap up spit up or any other nasty things that babies distribute.  Noah has also done so well with sitting that we have been able to put him in his chair harness.  It is so fun to sit and enjoy our meals together as a family.

Anyways, I don't have much else to say for this post, but hopefully will have exciting photos to share after this weekend with my mom. YAY for a visitor! Here are some photos from this week.  Enjoy!
