Weekly Noah: Six

Well... Our baby is officially six weeks old. He's a rootin', tootin' and gruntin' little guy.

Mr. Noah still nurses every two and half to three hours ROUND THE CLOCK and seems to be very confused on whether or not he should be sleeping at night... which is not easy on mommy.  As of last Friday, Noah was basically 9lbs (with a giant cloth diaper)...ugh he is growing like a weed!  He has also decided that he no longer likes swaddling of any kind, but he likes to fall asleep by being carried around in his baby k'tan or bjorn.  Bath/shower time is still his favorite.  And as always, our boy has LOTS of facial expressions, which means you can definitely know whether he is content or unhappy.

He is working on making different sounds, like gurgling and squealing, but still prefers to grunt and hiccup.  His eyes are definitely showing signs of turning blue and his little chin is developing a more prominent dimple.  Looking forward to seeing what develops in the next week.  

Here are some fun photos from this week.  In some of them you will notice that my mom (Dominique) and brother (Jason) were in town and so Noah had the privilege to get hugged and loved on by extra people.  So much love for such a small baby!
